My Story Daniel and My Story Noah Review

My Story Daniel and My Story Noah Review

My Story Books

Even when my children were babies, I always tried to find children’s books that were based on Bible Stories. Of course nothing takes the place of the Bible, but when they are babies and toddlers, they love looking at brightly colored illustrations. I want to instill not only a love of reading in my children, but also a love for the Word.

I was so excited to get the opportunity to review both My Story Daniel and My Story Noah. When they came in the mail, I knew exactly what we were reading for bedtime stories that night.

My Story Noah

They LOVED them. My children are 5, 3, and 23 months. It’s hard to find books that capture their attention through the whole book. These My Story books do just that. The words and the illustrations are excellent. The books are written in the first person, which I think helped engage my children even more. It was like Daniel and Noah were telling us their stories.

My Story Daniel

At the end of the stories, there are activities to engage your child even more. I love this aspect of the books because it helps them review the story again. There are pictures they can color and stickers that go in the Sticker Journal. Right now my children are all about coloring and stickers are a special treat. The hardest part was having only two books and three children!

  1. How cute are these books! I always love to have books like this handy for when we are at church and I need them to be quietly entertained during the services. Thanks for sharing!

    • Oh and I have too many to list them all, but we love David (in his early years), Noah, Daniel and many more!

  2. I always admired Ruth as a non-traditional hero. She left her family for her husband’s family and then heroically worked in fields to provide for her mother-in-law and herself once her husband died. Traditionally the story of Ruth is a love story between her and Boaz, but I see her as a strong, dedicated, loyal woman who took care of those around her. So she’s one of my biblical heroes! Choosing to stay with her mother in law and take care of her and work to provide for her shows such integrity!

Paul is one of my favorites. I love to share the Gospel and I love the way he did it so boldly.
