Try these essential oil diffuser recipes to make your home feel warm and cozy, to beat the wintertime blues, and for the Holidays.

Years ago we ditched candles for essential oils. Instead, we started making our own essential oil diffuser blends.

This was a very foreign concept to me.

I LOVED candles.

The warm glow. The smell permeated the whole house, making it feel warm and cozy.

Candles were my thing. My friends knew if they came over, a candle would be burning, no matter the time of day.

What I didn’t realize were the chemicals that I was released into the air. I had no idea.

It wasn’t until our oldest was born that I really started paying attention to the chemicals I was bringing into our house via cleaning supplies and smelly good things.

Maybe you’re just starting out on this journey to make better choices for yourself and your family.

If you are trying to ditch the candles and are looking for other alternatives, try these custom essential oil diffuser blends.

Where to Buy Essential Oils

This sounds tricky, but it’s not.

Essential oils are a hot topic so everyone is trying to cash in on them. Unfortunately, that means the essential oils you put in your cart at the big box store may not be pure.

As a family, we chose a company where we could visit their farms and see where the plants are grown before being distilled. Choosing where to buy your essential oils shouldn’t be difficult.

Do your research and figure out what is best for you and your family. They are your number one priority.
