Four New Neighborhoods
Disney announced that Pixar Pier will consist of four different neighborhoods, each representing their own beloved Pixar story. The first neighborhood that guests will be greeted into will be the Incredibles Park. Incredibles Park will feature an archway that will prominently display the Incredibles logo as guests enter the land. Once inside, guests can ride the Incredicoaster, grab a treat at Jack-Jack’s Cookie Num Nums or admire the beautiful architecture and design of the land.
Right next-door guests will be able to see familiar faces and attractions at the Toy Story Boardwalk. Here, guests will still be able to enjoy Toy Story Midway Mania! in addition to character meet and greet options and tasty food options at the Poultry Palace and Señor Buzz Churros. Plus, there will be a fun-sized Zurg that will be a perfect spot for your next photo-op.
The third neighborhood, Pixar Promenade, will be filled with re-imagined Games of the Boardwalk as well as new dining and yummy treat options like Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff and Angry Dogs.
Last, but certainly not least, guests will be able to enjoy Inside Out Headquarters. While this area is scheduled to open at a later date, it will include a new family-friendly attraction and playground for everyone to enjoy.
Incredicoaster
One of the most anticipated parts of Pixar Pier is the Incredicoaster. Although we’ll miss screamin’ on California Screamin’, we can’t wait to see what’s in store for this truly “super” rollercoaster. On this high-speed attraction, you’ll be able to help the Incredibles family try to rescue Jack-Jack after escaping. With new features, appearances and a brand-new queue, this ride will be more “Incredible” than ever before.
Dining Options
As mentioned previously, Pixar Pier will be filled with a variety of new food options. If you’re looking for a quick bite to eat, make sure you check out one of the many quick service dining kiosks. Here, you can find Angry Dogs, Poultry Palace, Señor Buzz Churros and Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats. However, if you want a more unique dining experience, you’ll want to be sure to check out the Lamplight Lounge. This casual eatery will serve gastro-pub style fare, including the world-famous Lobster Nachos! Plus, you’ll be able to have an incredible view of the Pier while admiring drawings, knick-knacks, and sketches from famous Pixar artists.
Character Meet and Greets
Of course, a new land wouldn’t be complete without meeting some of your favorite Pixar pals. Located throughout each neighborhood, you’ll be able to meet characters from The Incredibles, Monsters Inc., Toy Story, A Bug’s Life and more. This is the perfect opportunity to grab an autograph and take an adorable photo that you’ll cherish forever.
Pixar-Pal-A-Round
Mickey’s Fun Wheel is also getting quite the makeover and will become the Pixar-Pal-A-Round. While Mickey’s fabulous face will still be the centerpiece of this attraction, guests will now be able to soar above the sky in one of the 24 gondolas themed after beloved Disney-Pixar characters.
