I love a great deal. Especially when it comes to free baby stuff.

Especially when it comes to babies, there are so many products out there with outrageous price tags. While occasional splurges on items that will last through multiple kids might work, for other items, I try to buy them on sale or with coupons.

Since we have to stick together, I compiled a list of FREE baby stuff for you and your friends. While you do have to pay to ship, they are still all great deals. You can even share this resource page with family members so they can purchase them as gifts for you and your baby.

I love our car seat canopy. I was super impressed with the quality of the materials and the workmanship. It was great for keeping the baby covered while we were in public places, walking in the rain, and the cold.

Just use the coupon code: BITMFREE15 to receive your free car seat canopy. The code doesn’t expire. Don’t think that just because your baby outgrows their infant carrier you have to get rid of the beautiful car seat canopy you bought. See the velcro tabs? They attach perfectly to the belly bar of most strollers. Now you have a blanket that your baby can’t kick off onto the floor. How awesome is that?! This is definitely one of the most versatile items on my list of free baby stuff.

I’ll admit, I have a slight baby carrier obsession. We’ve had lots of carriers over the years. What can I say? I love wearing my babies. Slings are great for quick trips out running errands. They are so easy to get on and off. I usually either keep one in the car or in the diaper bag so it’s ready to go when I need it. Use the code BITMFREE15 to order your free baby sling. Just pay for shipping.

Nursing pillows are a must for me at the beginning. I tend to hunch over or hold the baby at a weird angle at the beginning of our nursing relationship. This only leads to a strained neck and aching back. The nursing pillow helps me support the baby while keeping a good posture. I also use it for tummy time and when your baby starts sitting up for extra protection around them. You can use the coupon code BITMFREE15. As far as free baby stuff goes, this item is also great for moms to use when traveling or taking a quick nap even when the baby isn’t around.

Although I don’t wear a cover at home, I always keep a nursing cover in my diaper bag. You never know where you might end up and need to nurse in public. I’ve nursed in lots of places over the years. One time I was at a vendor fair and ended up nursing while sitting on the floor behind my table. A little awkward, but it beat having to go to the bathroom and sitting on the toilet to nurse! For your free cover, use BITMFREE15.

One of the most annoying things to me is when my clothes don’t fit but maternity clothes are HUGE. The Belly Button band helps keep you in your regular clothes longer. They are also great towards the end of pregnancy when shirts look like they shrunk and everyone can see your baby belly. Use the code BITMFREE15 to get yours.

Baby Leg Warmers are too cute on babies. Perfect for cloth diapers, but great for keeping knees safe while learning how to crawl. They can wear them on the arms and legs to stay warm during the cooler months. You can’t beat 5 free pairs of baby leg warmers!! Coupon code: BITM4FREE. This is one of my favorite items on our list of free baby stuff you can grab. It’s perfect not just for babies but toddlers!

Seriously, you can never have too many breast pads. Especially early on when your boobs are trying to figure everything out. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve leaked through my shirts, or woken up covered in milk in the middle of the night. To get your 10 pairs for FREE, just enter the code BITMFREE15. If you want additional pairs {which I highly recommend}, they are only $2 each!

Start searching with Swagbucks. This is how we have bought several items for our babies. It was also how we were able to buy diapers and wipes when we couldn’t afford much else. I love Swagbucks.

  1. I must be missing something, but I can’t find a link to any of the freebies… no mention of the site?
Stopping by from SITS Girls… cute blog! :o)

    1. Thanks for stopping by, Vickie! If you click the picture, it takes you to the website. I’m sorry I didn’t make that clear. I added links in the text to make it easier to navigate :).

  2. Just wanted to stop in and say thanks for the great resource! However, I wanted to let everyone know that the shipping on these items is a bit on the pricey side. I selected the “economy” (cheapest) shipping on all products and here is the run down on what you will be spending. (of note, I did select some embroidery and size guarantee on a couple of the items)

    Canopy – $24 (added embroidery) ———$30 @ Babies R Us
    Nursing Pillow – $18 ———$40 @ Babies R Us
    Sling – $17 (added size guarantee) ———$50 @ Babies R Us
    Nurse Cover – $15 ———$30 @ Babies R Us
    Belly Band – $15 ———$50 @ Babies R Us
    Baby Leg Warmers – $14
    Breast Pads – $15

So, in the end, nothing is free but it appears that you can get most of these items at a great discount via this “BITMFREE15” code.

    1. Thanks for price comparisons!! It’s definitely cheaper, and I’ve been impressed with the quality.

  3. I very excited for the different stuff I can receive. The coupons will help me save money. Love seeing all the different products.

  4. This is nice and all but the shipping costs alone are outrageous! It’s over $100 just for shipping when you can use a 40%coupon at Joann’s, Hobby Lobby or Michaels and buy enough fabric to make all of this for a tenth of the price! Books are cheaper at Big Lots, Tuesday Morning or any other number of discount stores. It ends up not really being a very frugal option at all. Really disappointed that I wasted an hour of my life researching this when I could have spent that hour at the fabric store. =(

    1. Thank you so much for your comment, Allison! Yes, there are shipping costs. While for some it would be far cheaper to make the items, not everyone has resources or ability to sew their own items. While I was able to sew quite a bit before my first child and even my second, I simply don’t have the time anymore. I hope that won’t always be the case. During that time I was also able to find great books at Goodwill. That is not the case anymore. I’m sorry that you feel that you wasted your time. I know that for others this is a great resource. I’d love to see your next project! Fabric stores are my favorite even though I don’t get to sew anymore. Maybe one day.

  5. None of these are totally free, the shipping you have to pay is ridiculous! and when you’re poor, this does not help!

    1. Hi, Katrina. Thank you for your comment. Yes and no. The products are free and yes, in most cases you have to pay shipping. I’m sure you can find these same products cheap at consignment sales, Craigslist, and you may have friends who have them sitting around that may let you borrow them. Are you paying for convenience to have the items shipped to you and to not have to fight crowds. When I had my daughter and even after I became a mom of two, I frequented Goodwill and consignment sales. Now with four kids under 7, I can’t for my sanity. I use swagbucks to buy Amazon gift cards and search for online deals using eBates and specials like these. I hope that helps!

  6. When using the code for the canopy, I found that I was able to still qualify for the “Buy one get the second canopy for $10” deal! Which was great.. So I got 2 canopies for a combined total of $25! Not bad considering the original pricing per canopy is $49.95. =)

    1. That’s awesome! We loved ours. It was great in the winter, cool mornings, and any time we needed to keep germy hands away.
