Spend 2017-2018 with Beauty in the Mess
The 2017-2018 season is a great time to work together with Beauty in the Mess. We offer a unique perspective as we are a family of six with a large breed dog, living in an apartment. We don't live close to family and are new to the community, so our Holidays don't look the same as most families. Our family loves to travel. We aren't afraid of visiting new places with four kids and actually love that. Intentionality is a family goal. Whether we are reading books together before bed, instituting a family movie night, or in the car looking at Christmas lights, we strive to be intentional with our time together.
Let's Work Together
Beauty in the Mess is written for moms of infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary aged children. Those moms have a unique challenge of trying to stay organized while simultaneously trying to survive their season of life, keep everyone alive, make sure everyone has clean clothes to wear and feeding them daily.
That is no small task.
My readership is looking for ways they can cultivate simplicity and beauty when life feels like an overwhelming mess. They are primarily women, but also consist of about 20 % males. 85% have children, while 15% have no children. 55% of my readers are between the ages of 25-34, with 30% between the ages of 35-44. The median income is 100k.
If we're honest, we will all agree that life is messy. When we pause long enough to look at the world around us, it's full of broken and hurting people. But if we look closer, we can also see the beauty in the brokenness. There is beauty in the mess.
Who We Are
Hello! I’m Whitney, a mom blogger, the mother of a fabulous 8-year-old, adventurous 6-year-old, animated 5-year-old, spicy 3-year-old, and wife to a hard working husband. I recently completed my third half-marathon, and can't wait to run another one, although there isn't one on the schedule.
In 2017, we made the decision to sell our home in North Carolina and move westward to Colorado, leaving behind all of our friends and family on the East Coast. It wasn't an easy decision, but one of our family goals is to show our kids the world. This move was our first step.
Life is never dull with four kids and a dog. Our family is loud, loving, and spicy. We love adventure, spending time together, and add a bit of laughter and mess everywhere we go.
Not sure where we will land, we are living the Apartment Life. In order to make that a reality, we had to downsize, a lot. I would love to share our downsizing story and the surprise emotion I didn't expect to surface. For a family of six and a large breed dog to live in an apartment comes with a lot of creative organizational solutions. There just isn't enough room for everything.
Holidays and birthdays are always an adventure. We think our kids need all this stuff but is that really what would make them happy? Let's come up with creative solutions to celebrate our children without more toys to clutter our living spaces.
Small space living also means that my office is in the living room which is also kind of the dining room. Organizational products and tips are always sought after.
It is our dream to one day take a road trip to visit places like the Grand Canyon, the Redwood Forest in California, Yellowstone National Park, and so many other amazing places on the West Coast. If you would like to sponsor a road trip, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can talk about details.
Our unique situation leaves us flexible and allows us to think outside the box.
Let's Come Up with a Sponsored Package
I would love to work together and come up with a Sponsored Package that would work best for both of us. Are you looking for a sponsored blog post? Instagram Story? Facebook Live? Hosted Event? Let's chat! You can email me at email@example.com.
I look forward to hearing from you.
