Spring Favorites from Moody Sisters
If you’ve been following Beauty in the Mess for awhile, then you know that one of my favorite skincare companies is Moody Sisters. I was so excited to review their Spring Sparkle Sampler Bag! SO many great goodies. I love their products so much they are included in both my Top 10 Must Haves for Moms on the Go and My Top 10 Must Have Beauty Products!
The Spring Sparkle Sampler Bag contains 4 oz Hydrating Toning Mist, 0.5 oz Bronzing Body Butter, Glamorous Eye Shadow sample, and 2 oz Travel Body Wash & Lip Balm in Limited Edition Lemon Awakening scent in a super cute reusable gift bag.
My favorites were the Lemon Awakening body wash and lip balm. Lemon is perfect for warm weather and is a great way to start the day. I was thankful for the Glamorous Eye Shadow sample as my eye shadow has gone missing. It went on smoothly and stayed on all day. I am not a loose powder expert, but from experience, remember to tap your brush after dipping your brush into the powder. Ha!
I wish I could tell you more about the Toning Mist with cucumber and rose hydrosols. It smells great! It felt hydrating on my arm. But that’s all I got to try. When I set everything out to photograph, my three year old was helping me. No problem there, except I had to tend to the one year old during the pictures, leaving said three year old alone with my Moody Sisters goodness. When I came back, I found that he dumped the entire bottle of toning mist onto the lambskin rug. It was a sad moment. I am thankful he didn’t open the Bronzing Butter or Mineral Eyeshadow. That could have been messy.
I haven’t used the Bronzing Body Butter a whole lot yet. I’m still rocking the pale winter skin. Moody Sisters Bronzing Body Butter helps hydrate my skin while providing that much needed hint of color to take the glare away. The sparkle subtle, so don’t be afraid to try it for fear that you will look like you are covered in glitter.
