TOOLS TO ORGANIZE YOUR LIFE ONE MONTH AT A TIME

My personality is all or nothing. This can be a blessing. It can also mean I waste a lot of money on planners. Life with four littles while homeschooling and running a business from home, can be chaotic. It’s easy to get caught up in the go-go-go and not “be still”.

It can mean I lose touch with friends and miss opportunities.

I knew I wanted this year to be different. I want to be intentional with my days. I want to be still and know God.

My goal was to create a tool that would provide encouragement as well as help you organize your life one month at a time. I had the idea but had no idea how to make that a reality.

That’s when I was introduced to the amazing ladies at Wateroak Design Co. I ran my idea by them and they took my vision and fleshed it out. The end result is magnificent.

I love this Prayer Pack Stationary that Wateroak Design Co. created exclusively for Beauty in the Mess. It allows me to stay organized so that my days can be purposeful. My favorite part is the Scripture Printable. The reminder to “be still and know that I am God” is much needed on a daily basis in our house.

Like I said, I tend to waste so much money on planners to help me get organized and live intentionally. Either I jump right in and use it, or I get overwhelmed and the planner sits on my desk unused. The best part of this amazing printable pack is that it’s FREE. It’s not overwhelming with months at a time, although you are welcome to print the calendar 12 times.

I recently sat down and planned out the next three months. Appointments, sponsored blog posts, activities for the kids, vacation {Yes! I said vacation!! You have no idea how excited I am to spend one whole week as a family together!!}, and birthday parties.

You can cut several of the “notes” section and the “to do” sections to have on hand weekly or even daily. This pack is so versatile. I am very thankful for the wonderful ladies at Wateroak Design Co. for listening to my vision and making it happen. They are amazing!!

The best part is that you can get these tools for FREE!

  1. Good morning, Whitney.

We are finally snowed in in our neck of the woods. I’m so thankful to have found your site for so MANY reasons!

I’m Grandma-“Momma”. Keeping our little granddaughter organized and connected to her mom, I created a Power Point calendar. This little calendar can allows us to highlight the day of the week and move the daily event images. We use this to talk about her daily events and when she will be with her mommy/special guests in our home. I’ve now taken her little calendar and made a Power Point book for her, “C’s Busy Day”. She’s excited how I animated some of the images….including her mom’s little car that speeds away. Vroom Vroom!

My daughter says that she would LOVE to be able to homeschool her, but it’s not possible. There was a time that to make ends meet, she worked two jobs. Many trying times for a single mom. So, she wants ME to cover this. Having been an elementary teacher for years, I’m enjoying being able to offer her her little lessons. One of our delights is hearing her start, “Dear God” prayers.

My husband, “Grandpa-Daddy” and I were once separated from this little darling for the first two years. And we give God thanks for the blessings HE has given to us in the quiet valleys and the loud mountains. Imagine knowing a grandchild exists, and never being able to spend time with her. God surprised us by offering a LOT of time with her after none. We are sure God laughs about this.

Our children’s pastor of our church had asked us to watch his children during those quiet valley years. What a blessing! They, too, have four children. Their youngest is only a week older than our granddaughter. I would use him as our measuring guide as to what she might be doing. God provided us opportunities to share our love for children with them. And….their homeschooling mom, some date time for her and her husband who offer so much to our church.

I will enjoy reading your posts….it takes time. What a gift you offer many Moms and Grandmas.

Many blessings to you and your family.
